So you want to be a speech pathologist? eBook

Every day I get wonderful emails from people all over the country and world asking me about becoming speech-language pathologists. There is a lot of interest in the profession because it is growing, there is flexibility of workplace settings (schools, hospitals, or clinics), and it's rewarding to help people learn how to communicate.
I try to answer every email individually, but the reality is that I don't have the time. I'm sending quick two line emails to these kinds of inquiries and it's doing both of us a disservice: I need to conserve my free time for my passion of creating speech therapy materials and these prospective students need real answers that a simple email cannot provide.
That's why I've created this book that's got all the answers to the most common questions I get asked on a daily basis. This book starts as a road map for someone who is interested in speech-language pathology as a career. I direct you on your next steps, while also being real about some of the realities of graduate school and challenges SLPs face at work.
I want you to do your homework about speech-language pathology so that you commit to the career feeling confident and secure in your decision. If you follow my advice, I believe you will know for sure if this profession is right for you.
